ms45 Posted March 4, 2014 Share Posted March 4, 2014 Is anyone else moving to a completely different area, and are uncertain of what to do over the summer? I am graduating from a Masters program in May, and my PhD program doesn't start until August. Most fellowships/paid internships either start earlier or end later than would work, and I am unsure if I will stick around the town I graduated from, move to the new place, return to my home city, or try something new for the summer. I've applied for a couple summer camp counselor positions that only span 4-6 weeks (yay outreach experience for that NSF GRFP). I'm also interested in taking advantage of one of the last true opportunities to be young and reckless and hitting the road a la Kerouac for a while.
