Travel costs and reimbursement

I was wondering about how the reimbursement for travel cost works. Suppose I plan to visit A and then B and finally C, who is responsible for what? For example, should A be responsible for the travel from A to B? And so on.

 

I am totally inexperienced, sorry if the question is silly. I'll try to ask each department but not sure how to ask it.

School A would reimburse for your travel cost from where you live to A, School B is responsible for the travel from A to B, etc. The last and unlucky school might reimburse your travel costs to and from it. Just email them to ask with a specific travel plan in mind.
