KMarino Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Can anyone shed any insight on the likelihood of funding becoming available for those on the wait list. I was accepted into UO PhD program and I am very high up on the wait list for funding. Trying to weigh my chances of getting funding. POI and DGS said they didn't get as many funding spots as usual, but still seem to think it is likely I'll get funding. Has anyone been accepted to UO with funding who intends on declining offer? Any idea the time frame of when I should find out, other than no later than April 15? Thanks.
kdavid Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I was offered admission with only one year of guaranteed funding via the Graduate Teaching Fellowship. I'll be declining the offer, FYI.
KMarino Posted March 15, 2014 Author Posted March 15, 2014 Thanks for the reply. That helps my decision making and planning a lot.
tenguru Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I was just offered two years funding for a MA at UO. I am really thinking about going here over Stanford, who has not offered any aid on paper.
