username1824
I know that for federal loans, you can defer payments if you're going to graduate school, but I'm not sure if it holds true if you're being paid in graduate school (as many of us are). Does anyone here know for sure?
Guest Gnome Chomsky
Do you mean do you have to start making payments on undergrad loans while attending a grad program? No. As long as you're a student, you can defer payments. But if you took out unsubsidized loans, they'll continue to accumulate interest. You don't have to start paying back loans until you've been out of school for 6 months. ss2player
PhDerp
You don't have to pay back your undergrad loans if you get a burn notice. EDIT: Before anyone actually starts looking this up and saying "what's that? I want one of those!", this is a crappy joke.
