DeafAudi Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Hi, I'm assuming you want a Canadian opinion! While all are good schools, I would pick McGill because you could live in Montreal (I haven't heard great things about London, Ontario), and the name is well known. Is any program offering you money? Have you visited any? Fit is another important factor.

I actually did my undergrad at McGill, so going to UofT or Western would be a change of perspective for me. I'm really torn between staying and leaving. I'm not sure how McGill is known internationally (by people in the field) compared to other two schools. Also, because of political issues in Quebec, I'm afraid that McGill will be "that used to be a good school" type of school. Neither programs offered me funding and staying at McGill would save me thousands of dollars. But attending a new university and settling in a new city is a hard-to-let go chance of self growth. I have to make the decidion by April 8th, and I'm still on the fence now...
