All I really want to know is if there are others out there like me.

I was accepted by the department in the beginning of February.  I am STILL waiting for the official acceptance from the graduate school.  Without it, I can't officially accept.  I'm in contact with the department so they know I'm still waiting.  They've also assured me that I am indeed accepted.  But there is some issue with a new system, so on and so forth, but STILL!  This is just getting ridiculous!

Anyone else having this problem?

I was accepted in February and  just got my official acceptance materials two days ago. I'm out of country until Monday, however, so I can't use the codes in the physical copy that got delivered to my home to be officially admitted and register.

It was (and still is) frustrating. Ask the department if they can send you your registration information so that you can move forward in the process, even if their letters take longer to arrive.

I had a similar issue. Got the formal mail letter about two weeks after the PDF offer (a week or so after the phone call offer) and I only got the online change of status today!! It was annoying but I think overall if you're in contact with the department you should be fine.

I was accepted to one program more than a month ago, and I'm still waiting on my formal acceptance letter from the graduate school, as well. My wait is partially due to a clerical error that resulted in the graduate school listing me as a rejection, though. I hope everyone gets their letters soon!

This is  a cautionary tale to those who read this:

It turns out that the admissions department is saying that they never received the decision letter from the department I'm accepted by.  If I hadn't called, who knows if they would have figured it out. Now I'm waiting for word from the department. This is SO stressful! I lose my assistanceship if I don't accept by April 15.  Ugh!

I've waited for official letter for a month and still haven't got yet.

However, I need to reply the other school and deposit $300 by tomorrow.

$300 is a big money for me....

But I'm worried there might be some problems considering my entering the school later, and if I don't spend $300 get an insurance, I would have no school option.

How do you guys suggest on this dilemma?
