cinnamoroll Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) Hello everyone! I am new to this thread. I am currently doing my undergrad majoring in Psychology. I will be graduating in October 2015 and I am very adamant on doing a masters in I/O Psych. For those who are applying or those who are already doing their masters in I/O Psych, can you please tell me what do I need to prepare for? Like GRE, GPA etc. I really don't have any clue what is the cutoff. Since I'm stil in my undergrad, do I need to volunteer? If yes, what kind? I am also currently doing a Certificate in Human Resource Management that I will finish this December. Do you think this helps? Any input will be very helpful and much appreciated. Thank you. Oh and is it true that only the last 60 credit hours of your undergrad degree will be counted for the GPA? Edited April 20, 2014 by cinnamoroll
personalityresearcher Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 To my knowledge, Canadian admissions work like in the states: GRE, GPA, research experience, strong LORs...My friends who went into I/O focused their attention on quant (e.g., doing a stats minor) to boost their credentials for grad school...I'm not sure if the certificate will help.
