StenoLubr Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 (edited) Hi, I am applying to a masters program at Harvard, and I realized that there is no interview process during the application. I have also made a visit to the campus, and the admission officer told me there is no need for me to email the professors, which is usual for Phd application. Is this mean that they will solely look at numbers and writings in my application? Is SOP the only way to show how fit I am for the program? Edited July 7, 2014 by classic1920
Gvh Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Which program are you interested in? It's not uncommon for MA programs to not have an interview process. In this case, yes your SOP is your most important tool to show you're a good fit.

Its very common for the SOP,CV, and LOR to be the only things PhD programs look at as well (GPA and GRE too).
