Hello everyone,

If you know of any SLP related masters programs can you list them here for those of us that may be thinking of Plan-B.  Especially programs that do not require taking any more prerequisite courses that accepts applicants with different undergraduate degrees.  Thanks

I know someone who wanted SLP but decided to go into child development instead. I also know another who switched to education.

My school has a lot of students who quit wanting to be an SLP, since there's zero support for us and no CSD degree. Sigh.

Occupational Therapy  is not as competitive I heard, but you'd need full course in anatomy and physiology as one of the prerequisites.

Occupational Therapy can be considered close to speech therapy. I have a friend working at school district as an OT and she loves her job. As far as I heard, Occupational Therapy assistants are also in high demand. They have also better income compared to a SLPA. My friend really tried to convince me for a while to go for OT. :)
