brl254 Posted January 30, 2015 Share Posted January 30, 2015 I just received an official notification from UW-Madison that I was admitted to their Educational Policy Studies program. I am very excited but am unsure about funding. The department could not offer me any financial aid but stated that most students get assistance-ships in other departments. Set0514 Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 I got rejected from Vanderbilt yesterday. That's the only one of the seven programs that I've applied to. It was my "why not try" school so I'm not too surprised. Here's hoping we hear back from some others soon! also Rejected here. wondering the reasons. There's always a chance that Teaching and Learning and Sociology of Education are on completely different timelines, so you never know! I received an unofficial admittance a few days after my interview (thrilled!). My POIs (who interviewed me) were super great and transparent about the process, so I knew I was going to hear back, whatever the result, within a week. Naon Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 In late Jan I got an email from the program I applied to saying that I would hear something by the 2nd week of February: either I would be admitted or rejected (early admission), or they might defer until May. DREAM PROGRAM and after being rejected from Harvard and Stanford, I had lost all faith. But fit is really all that counts. Currently trying to figure out financials because it looks like TC doesn't fund graduate students... And they sent me no info regarding funding so I assume it means I didn't get a scholarship.
