Planning software

Hello,

This is my first post on the forum.

Do you know/ use any software or Microsoft project type , to plan the thesis project, showing you all the steps and key milestones  from day 1 till defense.?

I want to have one, but prefer to have something ready, rather than losing time preparing it

I don't know of anything and I'd be surprised if there is a ready-made template like that, because the steps you'll need to take depend on the project and your progress. Outlining what needs to happen and working out a timeline is something that you should do together with your advisor and committee (if you have one).
