chem.eng Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 The website says that to be offered admission, one must have had already chosen a faculty member who has agreed to work with you, I am not sure how to start up with that, I have chosen a faculty but I want to know how to get started and if anybody has any experience with that? Thanks!
Tiggerise Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I'm not quite sure what you mean by "I have chosen a faculty" I assuming you mean you know who you want to work with but you haven't contacted them. Normally the usually way to go about this once a professor is chosen is to contact them with a detailed emailing, you can search or google some templates there are several professors who wrote blog posts on how they like to be contacted in these situations. So basically its back and forth emails (sometimes in person if possible) until the professor says yes you can put their name down as your supervisor for the application.
