dranzer_kai Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Hi, I am planning to apply for MS in Electrical Engineering at UWashington. I heard that University of Washington gives more importance to GRE scores than any other institution. Do they screen the candidates just by using GRE scores in the first round itself? Any idea about the minimum GRE cut-off? Any seniors who have studied there can help me with this. Thanks
Texan_Air Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Check the University's program website or google for more info. You can also use the following weblink below as a loose guide. It lists the Quant scores average. http://www.university-list.net/us/rank/univ-20131047.htm 760=160 in Quant
Glitter1nTheAir Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I applied to the School of Public Affairs, so this might not apply to your program... but when I went to an MPA info session, they told me that they did not screen based on any part of the application, but looked at it as a whole.
polinabu Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I have pretty low GRE scores but still I`ve been admitted to Civil Engineering program. Probably it is because of fit.
pearlphilip Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I had a GRE score of 322 ( V-157 Q-165 AWA-5) but I got accepted into the MS Chemical Engineering program a couple of weeks ago. I think there is no one main criteria in the selection process
