alethicethic Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 The CSUs are free for California residents whose income is low (if you are a TA, you qualify.) So if you establish residency (takes a whole year), tuition is free. SFSU in particular also has many scholarships that philosophy students have been very competitive for.
