Don't know if this is the correct spot to put this but for those of you applying, do you know how to resend a request for a LOR to one of your recommenders ? All my other apps had options to resend the request but I don't see one for U Mass. Thanks for the help !

Hi, I am applying to Umass in the Linguistics Program.

It was my understanding that requests to LOR would be sent only after you submit the application ( and I found that strange enough).

 

Are you already past this step?

Yea I need to resend the request so my recommender can submit it since the original request was a couple of weeks ago and is probably lost in his email

Call them tomorrow, the graduate school. They will help you out. This is the easiest solution

Yea you have to call up and request that they resend it. Very weird all my other apps give you the option of resending your lor

It may be easier to simply contact your LOR writers yourself. I just chatted with mine to remind them and that worked a lot better as they'd inform me of their progress as well.
