Does anyone have any insight into becoming a dialect coach or accent reduction specialist? I have a background in theater and I fell in love with learning dialects. I would love to dialect coach. I am applying to SLP grad schools for next Fall. I don't think there are any programs which focus on this, but, just in case, I thought I'd check in with you all and see if anyone knows otherwise. Any SLP programs out there that focus on dialects or accent reduction?

UT Dallas has an accent reduction practicum opportunity available to all students.

Great to know!  Thanks!

I went to George Washington in DC for my undergrad, and they have a pretty big accent reduction client base.  Because of the locations, they see a lot of clients (politicians, academics from other countries) who come in for accent reduction for professional reasons.  I attend grad school elsewhere but I remember that being the case a few years ago when I was in undergrad.
