Iam a career changer and likewise, for my other career i had to do similar science pre req prior to applying into a program. I saw how devastating it was when students didn't get in after putting their lives on hold.. i don't mind taking pre req.. but this whole lack of guarantee whether you'll get in or not doesn't seem to make sense.
