Has anyone applied to or been accepted by Western New Mexico University for their online MSW?

I want to know the same thing! I recently applied and the waiting period is driving me up the wall. Totally freaking out but the heads of the department have been excellent as far as answering my emails and hundreds of questions.

I applied and got in. I start August. 16.

I applied and got in, email came in Wednesday or Thursday of this last week. Opted to go with my 1st choice, Portland State University.

I'm curious about this program too. I'm interested in applying and have been in contact with someone in the department. She's very helpful answering all of my questions. I've never heard of this university and wasn't too sure about it. The website looked a bit strange to me, but it is accredited and seems reliable.

@OaklandsfutureLCSW What are your stats if you don't mind me asking? I'm curious to see how competitive they might be. I don't want to ask anyone about it and it there isn't information on the website.

My stats were good. I applied with a 3.7 GPA. I think that the average GPA for most MSW programs is a 2.5 to 3.0. The program is accredited, which is all that really matters with MSW programs.
