mghicho2 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) Hi, A professor mailed me on Thursday afternoon about his project and asked if I'm interested we can schedule an Skype interview. But I didn't noticed his mail and answered it Monday early morning. It's Tuesday now and he hasn't answered. Is it possible that because I answered late, he has changed his mind??? -- And should I resend my answer? or call him if he didn't answer after couple of days ? Edited February 17, 2015 by mghicho2
MidwesternAloha Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Give him a couple days. Professors are busy people. If he doesn't respond by the Friday afternoon, maybe send a follow up.
lxwllms Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) I also recommend giving it a few days. I had an interview conflict and asked for another date. Sent two emails within two and a half weeks. It wasn't until a full month after the intial invitation that I got an email saying they had a draft email they'd never sent I ended up getting the interview rescheduled, so, give it time! MidwesternAloha Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Also, for what it's worth, I guarantee did not expect you to interview the next day. It's usually schedule a couple weeks out.
mghicho2 Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 Thank you very much guys. he answered Wednesday evening with another question about my background and said he will come back with a time and date for skype call.
