shinyhare Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 I'm an undergrad at UW; I know there have been acceptances, and the professors I know of are either finishing or done with their recruiting. Robo_Lizard Posted February 26, 2015 Share Posted February 26, 2015 I got accepted at UW in PhD in EE, but no funds info. =( POI doesn't have money for me. =((( I applied as well in Washington State and didn't heard a word from them. But good to keep in touch with you guys . So far, I have an admit from ASU. No funding though. I think UW ECE can still accept people and some accepted people could decline their offers. I was invited on Visit Days in UW, on 5-6th of March. POI from UW contacted with me, told me that because I'm considered as international student (even though I have been living in US for 3 years already) because of my background, I need to pass Versant Speaking Test to get TA, it's the only option to get funding for me. =( It's kind of sad for me, I'm afraid that I'm not gonna pass this test. =((( Basically, I believe without funding it's not an option for me to come to UW. =( But I will try to pass it in any case. Very weird accept from University of Nevada. Basically, I got some acceptances, but all of them without funding options. Somehow I passed this awful speaking test with machine. =) haha POI told me that he's working on it...I'm still hoping!!! Got acceptance from Tufts, with tuition scholarship.
