starofdawn Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Hey all, I've been doing some literary review and there is a paper that was published in 1969 that I would like to read (cue joke about going down the rabbit hole). If a paper is not available online for my viewing, what's my next step to getting a copy of the paper?
turbidite Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I would see if it is available in your school's library. If not, perhaps ask them to do an interlibrary loan. If it was published in 1969, then it has to be in paper form somewhere; it's just a question of where. Whatever you do, double check that it is not available online. Last week, I triumphantly found an article in my school's library only to find that it was publicly available via a different search engine.
FacelessMage Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Definitely try an interlibrary loan. Most interlibrary loans these days just send you a PDF scan of the article anyways. SNPCracklePop 1
