So I was recently "recommended for admission" to a program by the department, but have not yet received confirmation from the Graduate school. The Open House is next week, and I will be attending, but wondered what the chances of an admission being rescinded were after the fact. He was very inappropriate during his visit (and I think he has a mental condition akin to asperger syndrome) and the offer was recinded. Note that even if you get your official acceptance, it can still be rescinded.
