dannyduki Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Hello all! So I was recently "recommended for admission" to a program by the department, but have not yet received confirmation from the Graduate school. The Open House is next week, and I will be attending, but wondered what the chances of an admission being rescinded were after the fact. I can't think of a single reason why it would be the case, but the silence from the graduate school is making me nervous
BiochemMom Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 How long has it been? It took 16 days for me to get an official notice from the grad school themselves at UGA and it came via postal mail.

He was very inappropriate during his visit (and I think he has a mental condition akin to asperger syndrome) and the offer was recinded. Note that even if you get your official acceptance, it can still be rescinded. It probably won't be though unless you do something overtly stupid like sexually harass someone.
