If I recall, you would break down the words into the smallest units: l' = determiner infirm- = root for "nurse" -eire = female nominal marker jug = root for "judge/declare" -er = infnitive marker -a = third person future indicative tense marker ce = demonstrative root "this" -tte = female demonstrative marker enfant = root for child malade = root for sick/ill Hopefully someone can confirm.
