UT Austin Admitted Students

Hey all! I was admitted to UT Austin for fall 2015 for CSD. I just wanted to start this page to see if anyone else is planning on attending UT as well! Perhaps we can get a facebook page going? I will definitely need all the help I can get because I am an out of state student and would love to get to know some people before the fall.

I'm admitted, but don't think I will be able to accept without knowing funding info, which they won't tell us until May.

Yeah that is definitely a frustrating aspect of the program. But I think I am still going to accept the offer of admission because it is the school I want to go to most!

Does anyone know how much funding they normally give out? I would love to attend here but it's difficult to just take the chance and end up paying a lot more than I could be at other schools...

Hey, did you end up creating one of these? I'm finding there's not a lot of conversations going on between prospective UT Austin students here and I'd really like to connect with other admits thinking about going here or who have already decided to go here.

 

Also, I'm from Austin - I couldn't tell you much about the program since we're in the same boat there, but I can tell you about the city if you have questions! Feel free to respond or PM me
