sirpsiti Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Hi I am considering a PhD position at UBC, Vancouver, Canada. I have heard that this may restrict my intern opportunities at US locations. I bear an Indian passport. Is it true that while holding Canada study visa (the one that international graduate students hold), it may be difficult to have US intern visa? cs_phd Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 I know people from UBC CS phd who have done internship at USA (IBM watson NY and MSR Redmond which is close to Vancouver).
