misssmariss Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Hi everyone, I'm applying for a MS Management at NYU and am required to submit a CV or resume. I chose a CV since the personal statement cannot exceed two pages double spaced, and I need more room to explain my qualifications and aspirations. Can anyone offer an example of the CV they used for their application?? I've only ever had a resume, so I'm unsure of the format. Or, can someone answer me how detailed should we be on academic experience? Much appreciated!! Marissa
fuzzylogician Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Go online to the website of the program you're applying for. Look for their 'people' tab and find the students, preferably the first-year students. Some will have their own websites. Use their CVs as your example. They will be the closest to what you want to have. In the meanwhile, run a search on CVs on here, there have been a lot of discussions about how to structure a CV. mademoiselle2308, gellert and velua 3
velua Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Also look at your professors' CVs to see good ways to format or convey certain things.
