ienjf2 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Hi all, I took the TOEFL exam on July 12, 2014. I applied for fall 2015 but got rejected from all programs to which I applied. Will my TOEFL scores valid for fall 2016? should I retake the exam? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
Mechanician2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Most programs I've seen require the scores to be valid at the moment they receive the report. So yours should be fine(IE: no retake), but it wouldn't hurt to contact each program. ienjf2 1
have2thinkboutit Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Toefl or GRE scores are valid for 5 years. So you'll be fine. Check on the ETS website to be 100% certain. As for retaking the test - only you know what your scores are and if you'll need to do it again in order to meet the requirements for your different schools. Just check because these can differ! ienjf2 1

have2thinkboutit Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 TOEFL is valid for 2 years. GRE for 5. Oh! Sorry for the wrong information. The last time I had to do it it was valid longer. Or perhaps the organization didn't care...
