Hi Everyone,

I'm a senior in a big 10 university. I am starting to do my grad school research process.

Major: Economics (Specialization: Environmental Economics)

GPA: 3.1

GRE .. not a pretty sight:

W: 4.5

Q: 600

V: 450

I should probably retake it...perhaps you all can give me study tips for the Verbal part?

3 years of research experience/analysis with non profits pertaining to agricultural policy. Worked with financial dept within my university. Hold PR officer position within my University's cultural committee.

Looking for a MPP/MPA (I'm thinking I will probably specialize in Environmental Policy):

Any chances of getting in to:

(1) Maryland - Balt. County

(2) UIC

(3) Old Dominion

(4) University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

(5) George Mason

(6) Delaware

Any suggestions on what schools I should also consider?

I really am looking forward to what you all have to say, this is a great forum :)

If you are interested in environmental policy and are currently going to a big 10 school, then Indiana University -SPEA is your best bet if you want to stay in the midwest. Top notch environmental program, no doubt. It is a fairly competitive program and your numbers sound like it would be a good reach school for you!
