beepbeepitscar Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I thought I would share my stressful experience with everyone. I applied to 12 grad schools to earn my master's degree in speech-language pathology, and was rejected by 11. I was waitlisted at Marshall University, Baldwin Wallace University, and Bloomsburg University. I was rejected by Marshall University first, and then Baldwin Wallace University. I was completely devastated, and thought there was no hope to be accepted into a Fall 2015 program. When I came home for the summer after graduating from The College of Wooster, I thought to myself, "I have nothing else to lose." Therefore, I emailed the program director at Bloomsburg University, and informed him of all the awards I received second semester. Two days later I was accepted into the program! I am sharing this post to let you all know that there is hope! Believe in yourself and do not give up! Please contact me if you have any questions jdb10c 1
HopefulFutureSLP2016 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA and GRE scores? I will be applying to graduate schools for SLP for Fall 2016 soon and I am nervous as ever!
