Ilikekitties Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Hi all. When I sent my GRE scores electronically, I entered the school code AND the department code. Most of my programs wanted the GRE scores sent just to the school. My GRE score report lists the schools and then the departments. Is this really bad?
sjoh197 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I didn't remember it being an option to not select a department when I sent mine.... but I could be mistaken. All of mine went through just fine, even though the scores were to be sent to the office of graduate admissions. They will filter to wherever you need them to go. If anything seems off, you can call or check you application portal after a reasonable amount of time (however long ets takes to send stuff) to make sure everything went through.
quantpsych2 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I am equally interested in this, as I did the exact same thing.
stillalivetui Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 It doesn't matter. The department will get the score as long as you put the correct school code in.
brown_eyed_girl Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 You should be fine, but you can always call the school and/or the department to make sure your scores were received.
