Gift Ideas for People who Helped in the App Process?

I'm trying to think of small gifts to go with a nice handwritten note for people who have helped me in the app process, like the people who wrote my recommendations, some who critiqued my statement of purpose, etc. Brainstorm/any ideas?

Are you crafty at all? I'm probably going to give people kombucha and/or bath/beauty things that I make myself. If I get accepted, I will also give them each a mug or keychain with the school logo on it. A nice little gift basket, basically.

Fair trade coffee or chocolate? It's something I've given as a small gift a lot and that has generally been appreciated.

I'm thinking about getting a small souvenir for each of my recommenders from one of the cities I interview in. Some unique to the city and its culture as a thank you for them getting me to that point. I also really like @rising_star's suggestion of chocolate!
