MH2 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Hi, Universities: HKS, WWS, SIPA, Georgetown, Ford, Fletcher Course: MPA/MPP GRE Score: 1st attempt: 161V 157Q 2nd attempt: 152V 163Q Low GPA in Bachelors, 3.6 GPA in Masters Work ex: Quant heavy work ex for 2 years in the corporate sector 8 months work ex in a large public policy think tank in a developing country. Should I be worried about my GRE score? I don't think I will get any college this year. I will most probably reapply next year. Should I retake the gre?
Guest SIPA_MPA18 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 No, your scores are more than competitive. As long as you nail your essays, you seem to be very competitive. My scores were lower than yours and I was accepted Early Action...it's all about how you sell yourself to SIPA and SIPA to your future.

The GRE is not everything and your scores are competitive.
Trisha94 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Your scores are good enough for MPP (at least at Georgetown). They do tend to look at analytical and quant more than verbal, so you're set.
