hahaha1234 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Hi all, Hope your holidays are going well. I wonder what's the likelihood of being accepted to the program if being invited to its visiting weekend? I would really appreciate any advice on how should I prepare for the visiting weekend Also, I wonder if you have scheduling conflicts (i.e., two interviews at the same time, midterm, etc) how do you usually deal with this issue? Thanks in advance!
pink_freud Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Hi there! There is already a thread discussing this called "Interview/Interview Invitation Thread" (http://forum.thegradcafe.com/topic/71175-interviewinterview-invitation-thread/) That would be a good place to check, and people discuss there their interview conflicts! As for how many people are invited versus how many are accepted, it definitely depends on the program and school, but the number agreed upon seems to be around 2-5 students invited for an interview for every 1 spot available. Hope this helps!

I am curious to hear more info about this too, though I'm guessing competitive fields like Clinical air on more the side of 5 and Cognitive and developmental is closer to 2-3. Maybe others can add further insight on this? If only more programs stated this info on their website..
