laurielaker
Hi, all, I just reviewed my thus-far submitted apps and found a tiny error in my SOP. I left out one word in each of them, in the following way - "Studying at would be" instead of, for example, "Studying at Brandeis would be..." Now, I state quite clearly multiple times in each of these statements the specific institution and program I'm applying for - so they know, very clearly. That said, a tiny error like this infuriates me. I've done my absolute best work on these apps, and I feel that my chances this year are on the good side of acceptances. In anyone's wise and experienced opinion, does such an error matter in the larger picture of my whole application - statement, recommendation, test scores, diversity statements etc.? Thanks, LL

Are you applying for a graduate degree in proofreading? If not, then no.
