AlanaMadeleine Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 In December I got an email saying they would send info about the writing test after Dec.22, but so far nothing. No response to my email either. Has anyone else heard/not/heard from them about this? Thank you!
raykrau Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 hi, yes— I heard dec. 24th. Try giving them a call, they were very responsive when I had an application question. Good luck!
janicel Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Me neither! Thought about emailing the admission committee but haven't. Anyone else?

Mariehelion Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I got this email today, but like I said, I am not taking the test. Dear Marie, All applicants who are required to take the admission writing test should have received instructions by this time. If you applied to the M.S. program or to the M.A. program and requested to be considered for the M.S. but have not received details about completing the writing test, please contact us using this email address: admissionswritingtest@gmail.com. The deadline to submit the writing test is January 24th. If you have your test time scheduled with a proctor, you may disregard this message. Also, for those who need to find their own proctor, please have him or her register with us as early as possible (at least two days in advance), not when you sit down for the test, so that your proctor has adequate time to review our test instructions. janicel Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Yesterday I got Marie's second email, too. However, the school is not replying my emails...I have sent them three!!! I am insane now.
AlanaMadeleine Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 They didn't respond to my emails either. I ended up calling them and finally got through. I think it depends on what address you use as your permanent one. Thanks to everyone who posted!
samideque Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I received two emails with different deadlines for the Writing Test. One said the deadline is Jan 24, and the other said the deadline is Jan 31. Can someone confirm the actual date? I'm an applicant of the MS Program
gbhaskar Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I was really worried about my exams as well. I ended up calling the office and requesting a proctor in SF. I was lucky that a proctor was available on short notive and I took my test about 1.5 weeks ago. I would suggest pestering the office and calling. When I got someone on the phone, they were very helpful. While I did get a couple email responses, the phone was much more efficient! Good luck!
bunception Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Hi, does anyone know if Columbia Journalism School does interviews?
