perpetua una studienda Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I got an email from the DGS saying that the AdCom was very interested in my application and that they wanted to have a conversation with me over Skype. She said that the two professors with whom the interview will be held would contact me within the next few days, and that I should let her know if I had any questions. My question is: do I respond to the DGS's email, or do I wait for one of the professors to contact me and respond to him? Sorry for such a minor question--I'm just feeling super nervous about all of this!
rising_star Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 You could reply by thanking the DGS and saying that you're looking forward to speaking with the professors soon. Unimpressed3D and serenade 2
sjoh197 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 ^^^^That's exactly what I would do. It is always courteous to let someone know that their message has been received. Unimpressed3D 1

If the professor emails you back like "I will get back to you within a week," should I send her an email as well? I thought it would be ok because she said she would get back to me. I don't want to annoy her. She sent it three days ago now, argh
rising_star Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 @highborn, it hasn't been a week yet. No need to send another email. kingslayer 1
