Need help calculating last 60 units

To get into grad school a lot of programs will look at you last 60 units, the problem is may last 60 units will mean that only half of the classes from my junior fall semester will count towards the 60 units. Which classes do they count when they calculate my 60 units GPA?

Also some school look at your gap for your last two years, does a summer class get calculated into the last two years or is it just the fall and spring semesters?

From what I understand, schools don't pick and choose classes if your last 60 units includes half of a semester. They will calculate the last 63, or 65, or whatever units needed to include that full semester rather than splitting it up.

As far as summer classes go, if you took it "in the middle" of your last two years, it will be included (ie: last two years are fall 2014-spring 2016, a class taken in summer 2015 would be included). I am not sure in this scenario, though, if a summer 2014 class would be included.

I agree with what cosmicmorgan said. Also, I think they only calculate the last 60 units if you were a SHS/CommDis major.

maybe its different for the american schools vs canadian schools. but our schools posted how they deal with that. so if your last 60 credits falls into half a semester. that semester will be averaged out for the last few credits.
