Robotics admits

Hi,

I don't know if this is how I'm supposed to do it, but I'd love to know about the admits to Robotics programs in a little more detail than the survey site affords, along with where else people have applied and what kind of priority different universities are at. I'm sorry if there's a thread for this somewhere else.I didn't find it.

To start off, I have an acceptance to the M. Eng. Robotics program at UMD, College Park. If anybody knows about this program and can review it, that would be a big help.

I have applied to several other places, but of those, the ones I would prefer over UMD are CMU (MSR and MRSD), Michigan (The MS Robotics program), Yale (MS Mechanical with concentration in Robotics), Columbia (same as for Yale) and Rice (same as for Yale).

I am from a Mechanical engineering background. Oh, and I'm an international applicant. This is my first time applying.

P.S. I'm pretty sure CMU has sent out admits and also informed waitlisted candidates. I saw some posts about this on the survey page. Does this mean the people who haven't heard from them (read: Me) have been rejected?
