MSW admission at CSU-Dominguez Hills

Hi Guys!

I was wondering if you guys could give me feedback on CSU-Dominguez Hills.

I applied to 3 Cal State for the MSW (Master of Social Work Program) being CSULA, CSUDH, and CSUSB.

I got my rejection letter from CSULA on Friday. I was so sure I had my foot in the door there cause I completed my BSW there but it wasan't the case. I'm currently very discouraged yet paranoid! How hard is it to be admitted to CSUDH?

these are my stats:

CSULA BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) graduate

3.1 cummulative GPA from last 90 quarter/ 60 semester units

1.75 of experience in this field. (After school teaching/ mental health group homes)

I applied early October and submitted my full supplemental application on November 20th. Idk if I should take this long wait period as a good or bad sign.

Hello, I just recently got accepted to CSUDH on February 12th. I also applied to 3 programs, CSUDH, CSULB, and CSUF. I am on pending list for CSULB and I have an interview with Fullerton on March 15th. I submitted my CSUDH application on November 24th. I completed my undergraduate coursework at DH. I majored in Human Services and minored in psychology. 

Graduated May 2015: 

last 60 semester units gpa:

3.94

About 1 year of total experience from 3 internships during undergrad. 

I submitted my letter of intent for DH February 17th.

Congratulations! 

I submitted the application packet like 3 days before you and I still have no response. I think this is a bad sign. Im really worried

Thank you, I would call the CSUDH MSW Department. They are really helpful and friendly with the application process questions. Good luck.

Thanks! So I figured out issue.

one of my references did not put in the letter of recommendation. I was sent an email in November according to admissions but it turns out that they did not type in my email correctly so I was nt properly notified. I spoke with the admissions coordinator and she is allowing me to retrievethat last letter and turn it in even its past the deadline. Im going to turn it in tomorrow. They are really nice! I hope that this is a good sign for me.
