Hello March...but where are our decisions?

Is anyone in the same boat as me? I applied to PHD programs with deadlines between early January and early February. I thought I'd get more decisions by now but not the case! Is anyone else going crazy checking their emails and waiting it out?

Lots of places with later deadlines have later acceptances. 

Have you checked the results page for your program yet?

I've been checking the results page almost every day but I'm thinking I might need to stop because I don't want to get too disappointed if I see acceptances for the schools I applied to while my inbox is empty haha

@+thinking keep waiting it out! My SO was in the same boat as you and he just received two acceptances within 24 hours of one another after 2 months of basically nothing. I think news will start rolling in soon for those who have been accepted to PhD programs; official rejections on the other hand are known to not start rolling in until mid to even late-April.

I just meant if you look at the results for your programs in the past years, sometimes theres a pattern of late results. For example, the department I am waiting for has never had a result posted before next week. And they have historically responded in mid march and sometimes early april. So I am not concerned at all that I haven't heard, because it is normal for that department. 

 

On a different note... despite knowing that my program has never responded this early... it hasn't stopped me from checking the admissions portal every single day since Jan. 15th.

You're not the only one @+thinking.  One of the schools I applied for does rolling admissions and I've heard back from them already.  My top pick had a deadline of 2/15 and won't even look at applications until sometime next week.  This purgatory is driving me crazy lol.
