Does anyone know anything about this program? Its reputation? Is it "good?"

 

Most of my peers haven't heard of it.

I had a friend in the MA program. She was not offered funding, and had to take loans. Otherwise she liked it...

Ya I got 25% funding :/

One of my professors went to New School and she loved it. She's not from the US and I believe she told me that she got funding. It really depends on the individual and how much funding the department has at the time. Just talk to the department (or your POI) and tell them what worries you and they might give you advice.

Any others comments on this program? I am mostly fully funded there but don't know what it would really give me if I already have decent coursework experience and grades.

What funding did you get? Did you get a TA-ship or an RA-ship? I emailed my POI about these and I haven't heard back. All I got was the Dean's Merit Scholarship, which is pretty crappy.
