Hey everyone!

Im currently in the process of choosing grad schools and I am kind of lost between those two universities mentioned above.

Can I get advice on the university?

Anything would behelpful! (Student life, academics, post grad careers, career fairs)

Thank you!

I went to Duke for undergrad and I loved the college life there. However, living in Durham, North Carolina would be totally different from living in Manhattan, New York. Durham is nice but it will not have that energy nyc can give you. However, if you do not care so much about the city you'll be in, then ignore this comment of mine:)

Regarding student life at Duke, we have pretty strong school spirit. And that partly due to our strong athletic aspects of the school. You will feel a lot of support from your peers. Duke offers a career fair every semester. I found that to be very useful and you will find many companies coming in to join the career fair.

I'd go for the Duke program...it's slightly more renowned, even though you really can't go wrong with either.  Obviously, Columbia has a great brand.

Were you ever interviewed or did you just get accepted to Duke?

I was interviewed!

Thank you both for your replies! Will take them into consideration when I make my decision! It's so stressful knowing that this is the turning point of your life!
