Eyetea
Just wanted to know which programs you're applying to- checking if there's a crowd! Also, is weather a serious consideration for you? Edited November 20, 2009 by Eyetea
piccgeek
I'm not applying to ND this year, but South Bend is my hometown, and I can tell you...while the weather does SUCK, it's not impossible to live with. ND is a small-ish campus and the grad student living is not far from most of the buildings (as opposed to where I go to school), so that works out nicely. Venetia
I'm applying! And no, weather is not a factor for me- I did my undergrad in Scotland and my Masters in Ireland, so I'm used to miserable weather...
JackieW
I'm applying, and I'm not really worried about the weather. I *like* the cold and the rain, so no worries. It's my first choice though, so I'm reallllyyy keeping my fingers crossed for this one!
Sparky
Funny you should mention the weather... Notre Dame has probably the *best* weather out of any of the school I'm applying to. How did this happen?! Eyetea
Eyetea
Great to hear from you all. It's more refreshing to see someone who doesn't mind the weather. Notre Dame with the 'best' weather? That's new! Edited November 21, 2009 by Eyetea

How did this happen?! Are you applying to do grad work on the moon or something?
Sparky
Are you applying to do grad work on the moon or something? As a general rule, I think the moon has less rain. ) Edited November 21, 2009 by Sparky
BCHistory
I applied to Notre Dame's history department. And even though I'm from the Deep South, the weather in South Bend hasn't deterred me one bit!
