Where did you apply?  Where were you accepted, rejected, waitlisted?  Stats?  Any thoughts or wisdom for people applying next year?

I applied to 4 Stats programs, 1 ML program, and a data science program at NYU. I got accepted to NYU but I don't think I'll be attending because of a better offer for a stats program, and I don't want to pigeonhole myself into data science (despite it having many applications -- recruiters may not know that). That being said it looks like a great program, I just happened to be fortunate enough to have another great offer.

Hi, First off congratulations ont he offers! I hearsd that NYU for the Data Scince program requires at least 5 years of work ex. Was that your case too? I'm applying to various Universites for Data Science. i would appreciate any kind of experiential help!
