heywhatever9 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Hi! So, does anyone know of any bilingual MFA programs, or professors who advise students who write in both Spanish and English? So far I know of UTEP and UCSD, it doesn't seem like much else exists but any help would be appreciated... Thank you!
Kratistos Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Hey, I am looking into this myself. I heard about Iowa writer's workshop they offer a Spanish MFA as well as NYU. I bet they can let you have your degree in Spanish and take some classes in English. WUSTL also has an International Writers track in their Comparative Literature program.
cloudofunknowing Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 There's also the MFA program at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, where courses in writing in English, Spanish, and everything between are taught.
soydominique Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I audited a poetry courses in UTEP's MFA while deciding where to apply. The professor didn't speak Spanish, but she expected everyone to speak Spanish
