1/3 LORs - Where can I find two more?

Question

Posted (edited)

Last year, I was accepted into two MFA Creative Writing - Poetry programs, but turned them down because of funding and location. Now, I'm find myself in the "application" process again.

I need 3 LORs. I have already secured 1, but I have no idea how to secure the other 2.

I am afraid to ask the letter writer from last year because I was accepted into his program, but turned it down because of the location. I'm afraid he will be too angry to write another letter for this round.

What should I do? Are there any legit online resources? Would there happen to be any assistant/adjunct professors on this forum willing to receive $50 for writing a good letter on my behalf? If so, please include your email.

--I'm also willing to attend a writing workshop. I'm in the NC/GA area, so...any worthwhile poetry workshops in these areas?

Why not just use the three you used previously?

Believe it or not...I've read some forums where people have commented that they actually wrote their own recommendation letters and had previous professor submit them from their email accounts. Unethical...sure, but the entire "vetting" process is incredibly intrusive and probably hurts more candidates than anything.

I would use the previous letters, but I'm not sure my previous letter writers are willing to go through the process again.
