anyone hear anything? the website used to say applicants would hear back by first week of january but they seem to have removed it.

As someone who's thinking of applying in a couple of years, what motivated you all to apply? I know it's extremely competitive, but it seems that their criteria don't have any stringent cut-offs - what made you feel prepared to take it on this year?

It was my final year of eligibility... so it was now or never. Probably not the answer you were looking for, but it is what it is!

Hey guys - does your status say "manage"? Mine does, wondering what that means.

so does mine. i think answers may come next week actually, since that "expect to hear back by first week of january" thing is now gone. 

 

as for applying this year, i am going into a two year program, so..

Mine says 'manage' as well. I've checked periodically since I submitted the application and it's always said 'manage.'

i just saw that they tweeted a couple of hours ago that they would let all applicants know by January 10.

Any advice on the application process for future applicants? I've had my eye on this fellowship for a while and am considering applying next year.

Just wondering: does anyone know how much undergrad GPA matters with this fellowship/these types of fellowship? Like is there a big difference between, say, a 3.8 and a 3.9?
