Hi fellows. I'm an international applicant and I've applied to a few biomedical programs. Do you know if universities usually invite internationals to come on campus for in-person interviews like they do for domestic students? And, if so, are they usually able to subsidise the cost of the trip?

Thanks!

I've heard international applicants are usually interviewed via Skype. But I'm sure this depends heavily on the program.

From what I've seen most programs will pay for your hotel and flights within the States, but your flight from your country to the US won't be covered.

I second this :)  I heard that some schools "might" pay for international flights like Weill Cornell, UCSF and Stanford

Unfortunately, I don't seem to be getting a whole lot of interviews, this question was a little too early and optimistic lol. Nevertheless, thanks for the answers!

What about those internationals residing in the US? Do they include them for an interview at the same time as the US citizens?

I think so. I'm a international residing in the US, and so far all the interviews I received are the same time as domestics.
