Christmas cards from Universities?

I got an email from a university wishing me a happily holiday and a hold at greetings card in the mail from them.

Anyone else get anything like this?

Aside from the university which I am attending, nope. It can be tempting; but generally, I would recommend not reading too much into it.

I've gotten two or three...from programs I had no intention of applying to (I'm apparently on a grad school email list and get emails from various places).

I just think it's a little weird. That's a lot of students to send cards to.

Maybe they want to wish you a happy holiday season with good wishes for the new year!

(And money. They want your money, too.)
